Post optimising Trailblazer for long rides
Is there any way to extend battery life while using Trailblazer on long rides... I find that the battery gets severely depleted on a 4-5 hour ride.... maybe a way to minimise drain for long periods when you aren't referring to the data regularly?

Hi MJW,

Thanks for your post - it's a good question.

There's a few things you can do to help improve battery life when using TrailBlazer.

1) Make sure you are using the latest version of TrailBlazer. The latest version lets you use the top lock button of your iPhone without interrupting a TrailBlazer recording. This will switch the screen off.

2) Turn off WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G. Go to the respective Settings pages to switch these off.

3) If you listen to music while using TrailBlazer switch off the EQ beforehand via Settings->iPod

4) Set you email account to fetch data less frequently.

Good luck!

Cheers Gary

I'll try that when I next hit the road.
